Pekalongan | 88News.id : Central Java Regional Police - Central Java Regional Police Chief Inspector General of Police Ahmad Luthfi made a visit and hospitality at the residence of Habib Luthfi bin Yahya, Monday (28/8/2023).
Accompanied by the Central Java Regional Police PJU, the Central Java Police Chief's gathering was warmly welcomed by Habib Muhammad Luthfi bin Ali bin Yahya or often called Habib Luthfi bin Yahya.
The visit was in preparation for the Multaqo Sufi Al-Alamy or International Sufi Congress which will be held in Pekalongan City from 28 August to 1 September 2023 which is planned to be opened by President Ir. Joko Widodo.
Kabidhumas Polda Central Java Kombes Pol Satake Bayu Setianto said, the Multaqo Sufi Al Alamy series of activities in 2023 is the second time it has been held in Pekalongan City, 68 delegates from 40 countries will attend Pekalongan City.
"The police are assisted by relevant stakeholders to ensure security readiness in the context of a series of activities for an international Sufi congress in the Pekalongan City area that can run safely, well and conducively," said Kombespol Satake Bayu Setianto.
Kabidhumas added that in this gathering activity the Central Java Police Chief also discussed several future agendas including the process of building the Hoegeng monument which was built in the Hoegeng Pekalongan Stadium area, at the initiation of the Central Java Regional Police and will be inaugurated on 10 November.
"During his visit the Kapolda asked for support with the construction of the Hoegeng Monument in Pekalongan City, where the figure of General Hoegeng is a legendary figure who has a patriotic spirit, full of simplicity, honesty, courage and other positive things and hopes to inspire the example of General Hoegeng for us and the nation's next generation, "concluded Kabidhumas.
